On 25th of December, the Center for Strategic Research at Yerevan State University convened its second annual republican conference at YSU. Over 20 papers were presented covering one of the four thematic sections of the conference:
1. history and politics,
2. army and defense studies,
3. regional and global political developments,
4. information security problems.
Papers touched upon Azerbaijan’s domestic and foreign policy (including its anti-Armenian electronic and pseudo-scientific propaganda), as well as military-technical cooperation and arms purchases during the last decade. The South Caucasus regional developments and the influence of global actors on the latter were discussed along with the causes of the Afghan crisis, as well as the modern military science.
Presented papers will be published in the second issue of YSU’s “Strateg” academic journal after a peer-reviewing process.
